This instrument is capable of existing on two worlds. It is an excellent advanced student/intermediate horn and can also serve well as a professional instrument in many cases. This compact 4/4 tuba has a deceptively HUGE sound and great projection. With the recent change in the bell from 15.75" to 17.75" the depth of sound has increased nicely.
